TFAA Privacy Policy
This Policy is designed to assist in understanding how this site collects, uses and safeguards the personal information provided to the Track and Field Athletes Association (TFAA) and to assist in making payments.
What information is collected and how is it used?
The TFAA collects information for use in its in-house membership database. This information is used to register members, connect them with other members, gather statistics on the members and distribute benefits to the members. The information gathered is used only for purposes directly related to TFAA operations. The information needed includes: first and last name, USATF Membership number, date of birth, current location (city and state), phone number, primary event, coach's name, agent's name, USATF national championship most recently competed in, USATF association and email address. This information is kept in an SSL-secured database.
Sharing Information with the Government or As Otherwise Required by Law
The TFAA may be required by law or government agency to disclose information provided to the TFAA and will do so if required by law or subpoena, or for enforcement of or claims regarding our purchase agreement license.
How is Information Secured?
The TFAA secures personal information submitted by using reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, or accidental loss or destruction of information.
Other communications with TFAA via email or "snail mail" may not be secure unless TFAA advises that security measures are in place prior to sending information. Therefore, there may be a risk of choosing to communicate with the TFAA through these means, and the TFAA requests that sensitive information not be sent through these means.
How to change, delete, correct, or add to your personal account information:
If you wish to change, delete or correct your information, please login with your email address and passcode, which you will receive upon registering with the TFAA. Alternatively, you may send the TFAA an email at info@trackandfieldathletesassociation.org.
