I have been a competitive distance runner for about 14 years through the ranks of High School and College. I competed post collegiate at a sub-elite level for New Balance in Boston for 5 years, running times of 3:54 (1500), 8:16 (3000), 14:31 (5000), 24:30 (8K XC), 30:30 (10K XC). In 2007, I won the USATF NE Championships (5K), placed 3rd at the USATF Outdoor Club National Championships (5K), won the USATF NE XC Championships, placed 31st at the USATF XC Club National Championships, and was selected for Team USA for the Ras na hEireann (Ireland) International race series.
Since 2008, I have been off and on with injuries and life distractions, but have stayed very involved with the sport on many levels. I've been an active contributor/staff member of Flotrack, I was on the Board of Directors for the USATF NE Association and New Balance Boston, as well as the marketing and promotions leader. I was the Event Manager and Elite Athlete Coordinator for the New Balance Boston Twilight Series and the Adrian Martinez Track Classic.
I now work for Saucony in the Greater Washington DC area as the Technical Field Representative for the brand in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
I continue to grow my network and experience in the sport with every event I go to and every person I meet. I will forever be a supporter of Track and Field.

I am a Track Mom of a Youth Junior Olympic Champion, soon to be high School track athlete so yes...I am very involved and concerned about the future of T&F. I seek through my website TrackMom.com to help parents and other interested parties understand the sport better and how to get the most out of the experience. I have co-written a book called "Runners Take Your Mark" a book devoted to help the new to track parent on everything youth track and field. I am a Chiropractor and over 50% of my practice is devoted to track and field athletes of all ages from Masters down.
Occasionally, last season I even competed because I just love track and the pursuit is still quite worth while :-)
